Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan inaugurated Kaab Bin Umair School in Ghor Al-Safi, Southern Jordan Valley (Al-Aghwar Al-Janoubiya) district, following a comprehensive renovation project at the school. TNT Water Purification Technologies played a part in the project: supplying, installing and commissioning the drinking water purification plant that serves the school’s students and staff.

The Prime Minister’s visit to the school — December 8, 2024
On December 8, 2024, Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan toured Kaab Bin Umair School in Ghor Al-Safi after the completion of its comprehensive renovation, roughly two months after his first visit. During the visit he stressed the importance of cooperation between the school administration, its staff, the students and the local community in preserving the school’s facilities and keeping them clean and well maintained.
The works included the school’s drinking water filtration plant. TNT Water Purification Technologies is proud to have designed, installed and supervised the plant, and to have seen it inaugurated during the Prime Minister’s visit to the school on that date.

Why did the school need a purification plant?
Safe drinking water is fundamental to any healthy learning environment. The Ghor Al-Safi area, like the rest of the Southern Jordan Valley, needs reliable water treatment before the water reaches students, so the purification plant was an essential part of the school’s rehabilitation project.
What did TNT deliver?
- Supply: providing a drinking water purification plant sized for the number of students and the school’s daily consumption.
- Installation: installing the plant and connecting it to the school’s water network by TNT’s technical team.
- Commissioning and handover: starting up the plant and testing water quality before handing it over to the school.
