What is the difference between an RO filter and a regular filter?
A regular filter (sediment and carbon cartridges) removes sediment, chlorine and taste. An RO filter has a very fine membrane that reduces dissolved salts, heavy metals and fine impurities, giving you far purer drinking water.
What does a water softener do?
A water softener removes the calcium and magnesium that cause hard water, reducing limescale build-up on faucets, water heaters, washing machines and dishwashers and extending their life. A softener is not a drinking-water filter — it works on the whole house’s water. When do you need a softener?
When should I replace my water filter cartridges?
It depends on the type of unit, water quality and consumption. As a general rule: the first-stage cartridges (sediment and carbon) every few months, and the RO membrane has a longer life. Is installation free? Are installments available?
Installation is included in the price within Amman and Zarqa; other governorates carry a small installation fee. Installments run over 5 months at the cash price, with no interest and no down payment. The warranty period (3 years) and its terms are written in each unit’s contract.
